I have also managed to play in matches during the season against the Royal Engineers and the RAF development team to name just a few. The standard of cricket is high with strong opposition and quality within the Corps. I am proud to have achieved my goal of representing the Corps and hope to do so for years to come.
AGC Badminton Overseas Sport Visit Malaysia & Singapore 22 By Private Holly Williams
After a busy summer in work and on sailing expeditions, I was very lucky to be chosen to attend the AGC Badminton Overseas visit to Malaysia and Singapore 22. We arrived in Puchong, Malaysia on 24 September and we played the local badminton team, which was great experience as we got to test ourselves against some talented players. We also travelled to Port Dickson and played the local police force. Moving to Singapore provided the highlight of the trip because we had the opportunity to play the Singapore joint forces.
It was not just a trip to play badminton though, as we were able to experience a variety of cultural events, temple visits, a tour of the Malaysian Army Museum and catch up with old friends from the Detachment.

Foundation Parachuting Course at Army AT Air Wing. By Lance Corporal Declan Mulpeter
The day started on Monday 19 September, with several opening briefs and equipment issues, followed by a day and a half of ground training. After passing the Foundation Parachuting written test, my first jump was scheduled for 1100hrs on the Tuesday. During take-off and my first descent, I cannot describe the thrill, excitement, and anxious feeling that I felt.
After every jump l was debriefed, taught how to repack my own parachute, and debriefed for the next jump. This allowed me to improve on every aspect of Parachuting to cope with any problems that could occur such as twists and malfunctions.
Although I was nervous, it did not stop me from thoroughly enjoying the experience and successfully completing the Foundation Parachuting course at Army Adventure Training Air Wing Airfield Camp, Netheravon.
I would highly recommend Foundation Parachuting to anyone who enjoys a thrill. There is no doubt that this is one of the best Adventure Training packages I have ever completed.
