As Commander in Chief, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had an engaged relationship with all members of the Armed Forces and in particular for all members of the Adjutant General’s Corps, this relationship was of special significance.
T
he Queen was devoted to honouring and
supporting the service and sacrifices of the Armed Forces; including the introduction in 2009 of the Elizabeth Cross giving special recognition to the families of those who had died on Military Operations or as a result of Terrorism since 1948.
The AGC are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty the Queen and we would like to convey our sincere thoughts and sympathy to King Charles III and the Royal Family at this very sad time.
