Pte Dan Peace joined the Army in 2021 as a reservist PO for AGC (RMP). Pte Peace has had an unbelievable impact on his first year in the AGC Trials Team. Pte Peace is already a full- time factory rider for Spanish manufacturer Sherco Factory Racing. Pte Peace is ranked 7th in the World to date. Peace recovered from an elbow injury in 2020 after having surgery prior to the start of the 2022 season. Despite the lack of recovery time and preparation, Pte Peace was straight back into the sport with full aspirations to win. The 2022 season had its ups and downs for Dan but he managed to achieve more than expected after the injury occurred and the time he has had to recover. Dan finished 7th in the World Trial GP, 3rd in the British Trial GP, 7th in the Scottish Six Day Trial (SSDT), 6th in the The Scott Trial. Dan also won local club trials within the Scarborough area.
Finally, the AGC Trials Team wouldn’t be as successful if it wasn’t for the support it receives from the AGC. The AGC takes the burden of cost away from its riders by providing riders with entry fee cost, PPE, tyres throughout the year. All the riders are extremely grateful for the generosity and uses this to succeed in everything we do, from holding competitions, training, open days and developing those around us.
