To commemorate and conclude the AGC’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, a Carol Service was held in Winchester’s impressive and historical cathedral.
The Cathedral Built nearly 1,000 years ago, the cathedral is a dominant element in the Winchester skyline, the city that forms the home of the Adjutant General’s Corps where we enjoy Freedom of the City. Therefore Winchester Cathedral served as a perfect location to the Corps to return, for a final celebration of 2022. Adorning the Corps colours inside and out, the cathedral fully embraced the occasion and to all the passers by was an extension of the Corps, if only for the night.
Festivities Begin
Rigidly at 1930, the cathedral lights dimmed, engulfing the audience in darkness only to be broken by the lights of the RLC Drums. This spectacular light show and demonstration of multitasking in darkness was a worthy opener to such an event.
