Procedure: Step 1: Add components of Phase A (Coconut Oil, Dermalcare® LIA MB, Mackine® 301, Cetyl Alcohol, Rhodasurf® PEG 6000 NAT) to a 250 mL jar and put
the jar in water bath to melt at ˜80°C. Step 2: Combine components of Phase B (Dry powder) (Jaguar® Excel, Blue Mica, Mackanate® LO 100 and Lauramidopropyl Betaine) in a 250 mL jar and mix well. Step 3: Combine components of Phase C (Lavender Essential Oil, DI Water, Citric Acid at 50%, Panthenol and MackProPlus® Rice C) and mix well with a stir bar. This should form an emulsion. Step 4: When Phase A is fully melted, add Phase B and C to Phase A and mix with a Jiffy mixer carefully in the jar. Step 5: When thoroughly mixed, press into moulds. If using Si rubber moulds, reinforce the sides of the mould so the bars are not bulging out at the sides. Step 6: Put bars in the moulds into the fridge to cool. Once cool, carefully remove from the moulds.

Procedure: Slowly add the VANATURAL® CA and VANZAN® NF sequentially or as a dry blend to the water while stirring with a propeller mixer. Mix until fully hydrated. Add the rest of Phase A ingredients and mix well after each. Combine the Phase B ingredients and mix until homogeneous on propeller mixer. Add the Phase C ingredients to Phase B with mixing and mix until homogeneous after each. Slowly add Phases B+C to Phase A with stirring on a propeller mixer and mix thoroughly. Then, homogenize the batch for ten minutes. Cool if necessary to < 30°C, with mixing on a propeller mixer. Add Phase D (preservative) with mixing and mix until homogeneous. Check and adjust (if necessary) to pH 6.5 – 7.5.
