Procedure: Weigh Part A. Weigh Part B and mix well. Part A: Adjust pH =5.50+/-0.10 with Part B, mix well. Weigh and heat Part A+B to 90°C in bain-marie with helix stirring. Weigh Part C and mix well. Add slowly Part C to Part A with normal helix stirring at 90°C in bain-marie. Allow Part A+B+C heating at 90°C for 1 hour in bain-marie with helix stirring. Weigh and heat Part D to 90°C in bain-marie. Add Part D into the previous part with strong helix stirring. Weigh and add Part E into the previous part and mix well with rapid helix stirring. Add Part F and mix well with rapid helix stirring. Out of the bain-marie add Part G and mix well with rapid helix stirring (s=450 rpm); Add Part H and mix well with rapid helix stirring (s=450 rpm) Pour into moulds immediately. Allow to cool for 15 minutes at room temperature. Procedure: Weigh phases A and C separately and heat up to 80°C. When both phases are at the right temperature, add B into A and stir with a spatula. Add phase C into (A+B). Add D just before emulsification. Emulsify for 4 minutes at 4000 rpm under Silverson. Cool down under anchor for 10 minutes + 10 minutes with a cold water bath. Disperse Sepifine BB in 5% of water. Add each component of E separately at around 40°C. Adjust pH at the end of the process. Properties: pH: 5.5 Viscosities: 1M at RT: 18,440 mPa.s Brookfield LV3-6 / Recovery at RT (after 1M at 45°C): 16,720 mPa.s Brookfield LV3-6. Stability: 3M at RT, 45°C.
