Provital channels sea power for hair vitality
Provital has taken the wraps off Densinaria, a natural active ingredient to extend the life of long hair.

IFF reveals fresh findings on Aurist AGC
IFF has published new findings on the effectiveness of its Aurist AGC biodegradable cationic biopolymer in body wash products. Initially offered as a hair
conditioning polymer, the ingredient has now been found to also improve skin roughness feel and rinsability in skin cleansing and body wash applications. A clinical study aimed to
determine the sensory benefits Aurist AGC brings to skin cleansing formulations.
The results showed that panelists
experienced a significant reduction in skin roughness, and a smooth and silky residual feel after using cleansers containing the ingredient. The study also evaluated
rinsability, and the panelists observed a substantially reduced rinsing time when using formulations containing Aurist AGC. IFF said the study underscored
the ability of its proprietary Designed Enzymatic Biopolymer technology to deliver scalable,
performance-oriented, sustainable personal care solutions. “We are dedicated to assessing
the untapped potential of our ingredients, adapting to evolving market dynamics and empowering our customers to deliver innovative benefits across many applications,” said IFF personal care director Johan Jansén-Storbacka. “With this clinical data, we can
extend Aurist AGC’s transformative impact further into the skincare space,” he added.
