BRB appoints Transmare


BRB International has appointed Transmare Chemie for sales distribution of its silicone product portfolio for personal care, home and auto care, coatings and inks and construction industries in Algeria, Libya and Morocco. TMC Group, the parent


company of Transmare Chemie, operates a distribution network reaching clients all around the world.

Sharon Personal Care expands European ops


Sharon Personal Care has expanded its operations in Europe by increasing its manufacturing capability at its facility in Trezzo sull’Adda, Italy and opening a new sales office in Germany. The Israeli firm is adding new


equipment and quality processes at the Italian plant, as well as making significant upgrades to some of the current systems, to start producing new preservation systems as part of its “free of” line of SharoSENSE products. The company will also be able


to manufacture phenoxyethanol- free options. Innovative approaches for antimicrobial protection of wet wipes, baby care, facial cleansers and other products will also be developed at the Italy location. With the expanded Italian


facility, the company will also be producing these products closer to the market it is serving, helping to increase customer delivery response time. Sharon Personal Care is positioning itself to be a better partner to customers, says CEO Naama Eylon. “In 2022, we acquired Res Pharma and the cosmetic ingredients unit of B&C, and over the past year, we have been focused on integrating those two organizations into the company,” she said. “Now that the integration


is completed, we are working to streamline and expand our operations. The steps we are announcing today will help us to provide more innovation and better service in Europe”.


Meanwhile, the company’s new


sales office in Germany is Sharon’s first entry into the country. To help build their presence, it has brought in Tina Duoba as regional sales manager. Duoba has more than 30 years


of industry experience, having previously served as the general manager at Gattefossé. “I know due to my long-term


experience, the importance of quality, innovation, and sustainability in the personal care industry, and I have admired Sharon Personal Care and its commitment to offer the right solutions to answer today’s trends and future trends. I look forward to playing a leading role in helping Sharon grow its business in Europe and beyond,” said Duoba.


Elementis extends DKSH partnership into Netherlands


DKSH has expanded its distribution agreement with Elementis, a British producer of speciality additives for personal care applications, into the Netherlands and Luxembourg. DKSH’s Business Unit


Performance Materials will provide business development, marketing, sales, logistics, and distribution services for Elementis’ entire range of specialty ingredients for personal care products, including antiperspirant actives, in the two countries. Following a successful

expansion to France and Belgium, Elementis has entrusted DKSH to grow its personal care business in the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Elementis is recognized as an


expert in rheology and a global leader in antiperspirant actives.


The company offers a broad
