in-cos Korea all set for return

Pre-registration for in-cosmetics Korea 2022, the only exhibition dedicated to personal care ingredients in Korea is now open. Taking place on 13-15 July and

organised by Reed Exhibitions in collaboration with K-Fairs, in-cosmetics Korea will be held at COEX, Hall C in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Sponsored by the Korean

Ministry of Health and Welfare and celebrating its seventh anniversary, the event will gather over 150 companies ranging from suppliers of ingredients for skin care, sun care, colour cosmetics, haircare, fragrances and oral care applications as well as related services and consultancies.

Who is exhibiting in 2022 Along with global companies including Adeka, CQV, DKSH, DSM, Evonik, Merck, Honeywell, BRB and Seppic, to name a few, in-cosmetics Korea will welcome a range of exciting first-time exhibitors. These include AceEMzyme, which specialises in natural and organics, special enzymes and applied microorganisms; and Jinwoo Trading, who manufacture pearl and glitter as well as fluorescent pigments and natural ingredients. Also making their debut

will be Jupiter, which produces 100% COSMOS-certified natural emulsifiers, as well as the National Institute of Biological Resources, which provides guidance on related laws and consulting for private companies. Testament to the appeal of the

Korean market is the phenomenal growth in the range of international exhibitors, from 12% in 2021 to a predicted 40% this year. This represents a great opportunity for global players to penetrate the local market and for local manufacturers to be exposed to new ingredients. This increase is also currently

reflected in the highest early visitor registration figures in the history of the show - over 1,000 in the first week of registration opening.

Educational programme Of additional appeal will be the event’s ever popular educational

www.personalcaremagazine.com

programme, which this year will delve into the convergence of health and well-being, next-generation supplements, sustainable and circular beauty. There will be special focus on the functional ingredients and safety, gender-neutral formulations and how brands are evolving their digital strategy. Scheduled to present at the

marketing trends programme live are market research and insights agencies Euromonitor International, Mintel, REACH24H and Beautystreams. These seminars will be complimented by sessions on personal care regulations as well as technical seminars by ingredient suppliers. Also appearing is Pi Hyun Jeong, a

cosmetic entrepreneur and YouTuber with 962,000 subscribers, who will share her unique customer insight.

Bold ideas, concepts, trending Korean products In the Innovation Zone, visitors will enjoy a showcase of new ingredients that have been released in recent months, as well as the Best Ingredient Awards ceremony, with the star products and winners to be unveiled at the show on 13 July. Plus, at in-cosmetics Korea’s

sought-after K-Beauty Inspiration Zone, renowned experts for analysis of consumer trends and market statistics Mintel will be delivering live seminars such as ‘K-beauty products across the APAC region’ and provide an analysis of the most inspired products to watch in the skin care and make-up categories.

Registration at the show will be charged at $20 but pre-registration is now open and free at www.in- cosmetics.com/korea.
