Do you expect this to hit operators directly? Yes. Te increasing prices wasn’t random -
that’s the signal. I think it stabilises in six months, but these are interesting times.
Tings I thought wouldn’t happen again are happening again.
How do you balance resilience with performance? You have to design for both from day one. If
you only optimise for performance, resilience suffers. If you over-engineer resilience, performance suffers. You need to think about both at the same time - always.
Which parts of your platform are becoming predictive rather than reactive?
Security. It’s no longer just reacting to incidents - it’s proactive threat modelling,

prevention, anticipation. Tat’s where the biggest shift is happening.
Is AI an operational safeguard or a commercial differentiator?
AI helps internally - KYC, AML, player
protection - but real productivity gains are still five years away. Tere are some good use cases, but we’re early.
Have regulatory demands ever forced architectural redesign mid-deployment?
Yes. New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia - all of them. You think you’ve got it right, then the regulator says no, do it this way. Tat’s just part of the job.
Who is your real competition today? Te hyperscalers. We compete with other
specialist providers, but the real challenge is AWS, Azure, Google. Tat’s what makes it fun - competing with giants and winning on details they overlook.
Will hyperscalers always dominate regulated gaming?
No. Te market is growing faster than they
are. New providers are coming in. Nobody wants to be locked into one vendor forever.

How do you stay close to customer pain points?
I talk to customers - constantly. Calls,
travel, events like ICE. Te easiest question is still: Can we do something better? You learn a lot by just asking that.
What’s harder to hire for - infrastructure expertise or regulatory understanding?
Neither. Personality is harder. Skills can be
learned. Fit can’t. It takes six months to know if someone is right.
How do you prevent process from killing agility?
Few middle managers. Clear vision. Focus
on what matters. We don’t sit around talking about ourselves. If something doesn’t move the needle, we don’t spend time on it.
Finally - how will you know Internet Vikings made the right strategic bets?
Net revenue retention. If existing customers keep growing with us,
we’re doing something right. Churn matters too - and when it happens, I want exit meetings. Why did it happen? What could we do better? Tat’s how you really learn.
