Alongside original IP, the studio continues to expand established universes such as the Barbarossa saga.


Barbarossa: Dragon Empire, released in December 2025, builds on the series’ signature wild cascades, limitless multipliers and chained multiplier mechanics, while refining its mathematical balance and visual depth. “It expands the universe into a new cultural and visual territory,” Duncan explained, “and shows how far we’ve come in balancing art, maths and market maturity.”


AWARDS AND INTERNATIONAL GROWTH


Te studio’s design-led approach has translated into industry recognition. It secured Best Innovation 2025 from Nederlandse Online Casino, recognised for its hand-drawn artistry and distinctive mechanics. CasinoJager also named Zombie Road Best Design and Visuals, highlighting its raw, post-apocalyptic aesthetic.


Music has become another extension of the brand, with a dedicated Spotify channel featuring original soundtracks from its portfolio - further reinforcing its identity beyond the game screen.


For Duncan, these accolades reflect growing trust in the brand.


“Europe remains a core stage for us,” she said. “Over the last year, we’ve expanded in the UK with BetVictor and Tote Gaming, in Denmark with Spillehallen, across the Nordics with Nordplay and Ninja Casino, in Italy with Snai and SISAL, in Spain with Gran Casino Madrid and Casino Barcelona, and in Portugal with Solverde.


We’ve gone live in Sweden with Svenska Spel, in Belgium with Gaming1, in Greece and in the Netherlands.”


Expansion has also accelerated beyond Europe. Te studio entered Mexico, Brazil and Argentina last year, launched with NorthStar Gaming in Ontario, and is working toward entry into Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with partners including BetMGM, Caesars and Rush Street.


Most recently, it has gone live with bet365 across the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and other regulated markets.


Te Rising Star award may have framed the year’s opening chapter, but Peter & Sons’ trajectory suggests the studio has already moved well beyond emerging status - combining creative distinctiveness with operational scale as it enters its next phase of growth.
