Clark says that all its other boards were assembled by hand in- house, which was slow and opened the possibility to human error. With the Essemtec pick-and-place mach - ine, Masterclock was able to drasti- cally decrease lead times and improve the quality of its boards. The company first chose to part-


ner with Essemtec more than eight years ago, because it offered the affordable solution that Masterclock

Clark says that the company returned to Essemtec when it needed an upgrade for the same reason, as well as its excellent customer sup- port. “We could not be happier with Essemtec’s customer service,” he adds. “Everyone we’ve worked with has been very responsive and help- ful. When the Pantera went down, Essemtec had a technician here with the part and had us back up and run- ning in no time.
