February, 2019 Scienscope Launches X-ray Component Counter
Chino, CA — Scienscope Internation- al is introducing its brand-new AXC- 800 IL X-ray component counter and
also showcasing its AXI-5100c II at IPC APEX 2019. Based on the AXC- 800 platform, the new system in-
cludes internal automatic barcode reading, eliminating the need for an operator to scan reels using a handheld barcode scanner. Reels are simply loaded into the system, the barcode la- bels are scanned automati- cally, and the count takes place without any further ac- tion by the operator. The AXI-5100c is a fully
automated, flexible, inline, fast, and accurate component counting machine designed to increase productivity. With automated barcode reading and reel size and height detection, the optional loaders and unloaders make it possible for the user to drop off a batch of reels and focus on other tasks. Customers can start
with a standalone, inline sys- tem and grow into more au- tomation in the future. At the trade show, Sci-
enscope will be demonstrat- ing its top-of-the-line X-Spection 6000 with a rotating inspection table and a full complement of software tools and complete BGA stitching, which offers a full view of any BGA. In addition, the X-Scope 2000 will be

Orlando, FL — nScrypt has delivered a 3Dn-1000 multi-material factory- in-a-tool (FiT) platform to the U.S. Army’s Redstone Arsenal. This FiT has 3.3 ft (1m) of travel in the x/y axes at a speed of up to 3.3 ft/s (1 m/s) and can run five tool heads si- multaneously, without tool changes, on a high-precision linear motion gantry.
The FiT includes capabilities for

pensing tool head eliminates drooling with pico-liter volumetric control and dispenses more than 10,000 commer- cially available materials, ranging from a few to millions of centipoise. The SmartPump’s pen tip has a diam- eter of 0.4 mil (10 µm). The 3Dn-1000’s nFD extruder
