Nordson ASYMTEK Offers Large-Volume, Advanced Dispensing
Carlsbad, CA — Nordson ASYMTEK is demonstrating large-volume and advanced dispensing, hot bar solder- ing, and a conformal coating line at IPC APEX 2019. Also on display will be a range of jets and valves for dis- pensing and coating applications, including the company’s SC-350 Select Spray applicator. The conformal coating line
will emphasize process stabili- ty, with consistency at each step. Coating productivity can be monitored easily, due to inter-machine communication between the Select Coat® SL- 940 conformal coating system, the FX-942UV series ACI/AOI automated conformal coating inspection system and an inte- grated oven. Flexible configura- tions make it easy to create the right solution. Nordson ASYMTEK’s Van -
tage™ fluid dispensing system, combined with its IntelliJet® jet- ting system, offers remarkable speed and accuracy in high-vol- ume electronics manufacturing. The Vantage dispensing system is controlled by completely new dispensing software, Canvas™, with graphical programming and guided wizards. The Helios™ SD-960 series
automated dispensing system is specifically designed for high- throughput and batch dispensing in electronics assembly for large parts and PCB substrates. It dispenses medium-to-bulk volumes of both one- and two-component, highly abrasive thermal interface materials (TIMs), silicones, epoxies, and greases for

IPTE Focuses on PCB Depaneling and Test
Alpharetta, GA — IPTE is focusing on three main categories of equipment at this year’s IPC APEX. These include: PCB depanelization, testing and board handling. Products include the Easy - Router, an offline, low-cost PCB router, the Easy Test Handler (ETH), an economical test solu- tion with a compact footprint, and the Test Handler MFT 19 in. (48.3 cm), a board handler for ICT, functional test and pro- gramming processes. The EasyRouter can
reach speeds of up to 2.4 in./s (6 cm/s) for fast routing of PCBs from above. Loading and unloading is done manu- ally during the separation process with a rotating table that includes simple and func- tional workpiece holders. The x and y drive mecha-
nisms for milling are equipped with fast and precise linear motors. For easy programming,
the machine comes with a camera aided teaching system (CATS). Programming can also be carried out by using standard DXF files or G- data codes.
