February, 2019 Seika Launches Router, Depaneler and Dry Cabinet
Torrance, CA — Seika Machinery is showcasing a complete lineup of lead- ing-edge equipment at IPC APEX 2019, including the latest models from McDry, Sayaka, Unitech, Sawa, Hioki, and MALCOM. The Sayaka SAM-CT23S
tabletop router with color CCD camera offers automatic align- ment compensation with fiducial marks and automatic program change with QR code. With 115 VAC operation, no compressed air is necessary. Advanced image processing software allows easy programming and CAD-based offline programming. Seika has collaborated with
Kawasaki Robotics’ engineering team to develop the Sayaka SAM- CT23NJ automated PCB depaneling system, combined with the Kawasaki duAro dual-arm SCARA robot. With the new design, the robot loads and

unloads PCBs from the router. The new McDry DXU-1001A high-performance dry cabinet main- tains one percent relative humidity levels. All McDry ultra-low humidity storage cabinets conform to IPC/JEDEC J-STD 033D and IPC 1601 standards. The ESD- safe design adheres to the IEC61340-5-1 (ESD) standard. McDry cabinets dehumidify ICs to prevent micro-cracking and are an alternative to bak- ing, MBBs and nitrogen stor- age. All McDry cabinets now come with the new, high-per- formance, quick-dehumidifying drying units.

Solderstar Debuts Thermal Profile
Validation System
Clearwater, FL — Solderstar is launching its new Smartline-X ther- mal profile management system. Smartline-X is a web-powered plat- form that automates thermal profile verification across an organization’s manufacturing sites. Data can be received from
reflow ovens, wave and selective sol- dering machines, and the vapor phase process, using Solderstar’s comprehensive range of profile meas- urement devices and the Smartline- X system.
Smartline-X thermal profile management system.
The system provides more than
process traceability, it is a complete management system for thermal pro- file scheduling, verification, storage, and reporting. Live views notify users when profiling is required, along with current process condi- tions. Real-time SPC charting and
Cpk calculations are provided, allow- ing fine-tuning and trend plotting of each parameter captured. At the heart of Smartline-X is a
flexible rules and scheduling engine. Process rules can be defined to vali- date any profile captured by the process control team. These rules can be as advanced or as simple as an engineer requires. Each soldering machine being monitored can have its own inspection schedule defined to match a customer’s preferred pro- filing regime. All profile data, process rules
and reporting are managed centrally through a web-based document library, capable of storing millions of thermal profiles. Smartline-X can be deployed on a local server or by a
cloud-based provider. Contact: Solderstar, LLC, 4500 140th Avenue North, Suite 101,
