HERNON Introduces Flex PVC Bonding Solution
Sanford, FL — HERNON® has intro- duced its Fusionbond® 375, a solu- tion for bonding flex PVC. Benefits of the new adhesive include: non-sag-
ging gaps filled to 0.4 in. (1 cm); ex- cellent impact and peel strength; lit- tle or no surface preparation neces- sary; rapid room-temperature cure;
100 percent reactivity; and environ- mental and chemical resistance, in- cluding gasoline resistance. Fusionbond 375 is a
highly thixotropic, two-com- ponent, room-temperature curing, 1:1 ratio, methacry- late adhesive system. The material is formulated to provide fixturing strength within 10 minutes. This ad- hesive forms resilient bonds and maintains its strength over a wide range of temper- atures.
Fusionbond 375 is suit-
able for bonding a variety of substrates with a minimum of sur- face preparation. The material provides tough-
ness at temperatures from –67 to +250°F (–55 to +121.1°C). Recom-
