Psychoanalytic Studies

Typical entry requirements  At least an Upper Second Class Honours first


degree or equivalent qualification. Relevant professional development and experience will also be considered


 If your first language is not English, you would normally be expected to demonstrate English language proficiency to at least the following levels: iBT 88 or IELTS 6.5


Why study psychoanalytic studies at Essex? This course provides a good balance of clinical and academic expertise. A wide range of dissertation research can be supported. This MA includes the theory of groups and organisations, which both clinicians and managers will find immediately relevant. The academic rigour of our course is especially valuable as research becomes more important in the professions.
