We can provide what you need.

Fort Collins, CO — Getech Automatic is introducing the ALPS Labeling Machine. It is a high speed inline label placer of pre-printed labels from an automatic label feeder to PCB. The ALP utilizes X-Y linear axes for the movement of the end effector which houses the vacuum pick-up head. Pre-printed labels are directly fed by an automatic label feeder. PCB boards are received on a two-stage adjustable-width variable- speed AC motor conveyor. The sys- tem offers both utility and versatility in a robust, compact cost-effective platform capable of handling up to 4 feeders at a time. According to the company, the machine provides extremely high

placement speed, label placement accuracy of 0.1mm, U-axis rotation, optional features of barcode reader and multiple label feeders. The work- station performs board positioning using a pneumatic stopper, locates the panel by using the tooling holes or edges of the PCB. The unit accepts maximum panel sizes 500 x 500mm (1 stage) or 320 x 500 mm (2 stages). The machine provides a place-

ment speed of 1000mm/sec, repeata- bility of ±0.1mm, and placement accu-

racy at speeds of 200mm/sec max. Contact: Getech Automatic, 320

Carson City, NV — Plasma Etch, Inc. is introducing the first plasma etch- ing systems used in the manufacture of PCBs that requires no CF4. The company’s patent pending system only uses 3-phase power and com- pressed air. The new technology inside the Magna completely elimi- nates the need for CF4 gas which is presently used by PCB manufactur- ers’ plasma etching systems for desmear and etch back processing. Magna is the next generation

replacement for the company’s time proven MK-II line of systems for desmear and etch back applications. As the results show, Magna sets new market standards in several key areas. Magna’s new technology pro- vides faster etch times; lower operat- ing cost, lower power usage, and incredible process uniformity not achievable using existing MK-II type technologies. Magna provides preci- sion and uniform etching on both sides of panels simultaneously. The Magna is a choice that ben- efits both customer and our planet’s

environment. Magna customers experience higher levels of uniformi- ty and lower operating costs. The environment also benefits having lower levels of greenhouse gases
