Pico Intros Power Factor Corrected AC-DC Modules

Nuremberg, Germany, 6–8 May 2014

International Exhibition and Conference for System Integration in Micro Electronics

The place to be! smt-exhibition.com

Pelham, NY — Pico Electronics has introduced a new power factor cor- rected, AC3 series of AC-DC isolated modules. The single brick package allows inputting a 208VAC three phase AC delta connection and pro- vides isolated output volt- ages from 5VDC to one of the highest voltage outputs available, 300VDC, and out- put power up to 300 Watts. Sixteen new models

will operate from 208VAC with an input frequency range of 47 to 440Hz and provide an isolated, regulat- ed DC output voltage. Standard features in -

clude over-current protection and built-in sense pins on modules with 48VDC output and less, in a fully encapsulated module for use in a ruggedized environment. Upgraded

modules for expanded operating tem- perature and COTS applications are also available.

Leader Tech: Custom Tuned Microwave Absorbers

13th Electronic Circuits World Convention Nuremberg, Germany, 7–9 May 2014

Connecting the world ecwc13.org

Tampa, FL — Leader Tech is now offering a new line of high-perform- ance, custom-tuned microwave absorbers. By target- ing discrete frequen- cies between 1GHz and 18GHz, such as 10.9GHz, these spe- cialty absorber formu- lations deliver an average attenuation between 20 and 30dB. As an added benefit, there is no additional charge for customiz- ing an absorber to a unique target fre- quency. The company’s microwave ab -

Compact Accelerometer from Measurement Specialties

Two renowned events – one location:

Make the most of the opportunities offered by this unique gathering. The latest information about market and technology trends, including on the subjects supply chain management, global market trends, manufacturing, packaging technology and energy and resource efficiency, is being presented at the 13th Electronic Circuits World Convention (ECWC13). At SMT Hybrid Packaging you will find out about the latest developments along the entire process chain of electronics manufacturing.

Partner ECWC13:

Hampton, VA — Measurement Specialties (NASDAQ: MEAS) is now offering the Model 8101, a compact, low-cost accelerometer designed for general purpose vibration meas- urement. The new plug-and-play piezo-

electric linear accelerometer is available in two dynamic ranges, ±40g and ±160g, for use in a wide number of applications, as well as in two measurement directions, either an X- or Z-axis configura- tion. The sensor is especially suit- able for asset, impact and machine health monitoring as well as data loggers, system wake-up switches and product R&D. The Model 8101 uses stable piezo-ceramic crystals in shear mode with low base strain sen- sitivity and a flat frequency response across a 6,000Hz bandwidth. The accelerometer is fully potted for an environmentally sealed IP65 con- struction that enables the unit to be used in a variety of test and meas-

urement applications. The device has an operating
