Minneapolis, MN — CyberOptics Cor poration (Nasdaq: CYBE) is marking 30 years of developing and manufacturing intelligent inspection and sensing solutions for the elec- tronics assembly and semiconductor markets. The company was founded in 1984 by the late Dr. Steve Case with its first office located at 2331 University Ave. and many of its first employees were graduates of the University of Minnesota. In 2001, the CyberOptics office
relocated to 5900 Golden Hills Drive, which is the company’s current head- quarters location. In 1987, the compa- ny designed its first product —a Point Range Sensor — and had 12 full-time employees. Lab Facility Chandler, AZ — Koh Young America (KYA) has launched its newly-reno- vated Demo Lab in its Chandler, Ari- zona headquarters. The new demo lab gives customers the opportunity to enjoy hands-on experience and demonstrations with the company’s latest Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) technology and systems. Two other Koh Young demo facil-

Signal Transformer Completes 129 kV Rooftop Solar Installation
Inwood, NY — Signal Transformer, a division of Bel Fuse Inc. (BELFA) (BELFB), under Governor Cuomo’s NY-Sun initiative, has completed the installation of a rooftop solar photo- voltaic (PV) system at its Inwood, NY facility. The company manufactures high-efficiency transformers, chokes, and inductors, which are widely em- ployed in an array of mission-critical power applications worldwide. Started in July 2013, the 129kW rooftop solar project was de-
signed, engineered and installed by EnterSolar, a New York-based pro - vider of commercial solar solutions. The state-of-the-art system now pro- vides much of the building’s electric- ity while notably producing enough renewable energy to make up for over 200,000 pounds of carbon diox-

Nova Microwave Gains ISO Certification
Clearwater, FL- Nova Microwave, Inc., a subsidiary of Electro Technik Industries, Inc. (ETI), is now certi- fied to ISO: 2008 by SAI Global. No- va Microwave, Inc. designs and man- ufactures isolators and circulators for RF and microwave commercial and defense applications. Nova Microwave offers a number
of different styles from drop-ins to surface mounts. The frequency ranges from 380 MHz to 23.6 GHz with average power ratings from 2 to 250 watts. The company has almost 20 years of experience in the mi- crowave business. ETI acquired Nova Microwave in
June of 2013 to be part of its RF and Microwave Group and immediately

Private Investor Group Leads MRSI Buyout from Parent -- Newport Corp.
Billerica, MA — MRSI Systems, a de- veloper and manufacturer of turnkey chip placement and dispensing sys- tems, has completed a leveraged buy- out of assets from parent company Newport Corp. (Nasdaq: NEWP). Led by a private investment
group of MRSI’s senior leadership and investment companies — Massachu- setts Growth Capital Corp. and Boston Private Bank & Trust Compa- ny, along with additional guidance from Boston Financial Resources and
Villeo Capital, the deal, valued at $6 million, was the final step in a two- part purchase process. Keeping MRSI’s technology in
the state of Massachusetts, where it has been for the past 30 years, en- sures it remains intact, along with its existing high-tech engineering

MET Opens New Stencil Facility and Training Area
Melbourne, FL — MET has opened a new manufacturing facility in Mel- bourne, Florida. MET, a stencil suppli- er headquartered in Lumberton, NJ and with production plants in Min- nesota, North Carolina and New Hampshire, will produce precision stencils at 715 North Dr., Suite C, in Melbourne. The new plant has a state- of-the-art laser system that will pro- duce stencils for all framed and frame- less variations. The facility will serve the entire Florida SMT marketplace. In addition, MET will share the
space with its business partner, Cir- cuit Technology of Holly Springs, NC. CTI will serve as the sales repre- sentative for MET in Florida and will also operate an IPC certification training center at the location.
