No longer is it necessary to disas- semble, clean and re place worn seals, which translates into saving time and money. The diaphragm also allows fast cycle rates because of its very small mass. There is no large sliding valve stem that slows down the process. With this novel diaphragm design, the energy needed to eject a drop can be adjusted provid- ing a wider process window. Coating & Dispensing System Cohoes, NY — Conformal coating and precision dispensing systems maker PVA (Precision Valve & Automation, Inc.) is launching the most signifi- cant new entry to its coating and dis- pensing product line since the PVA650. Two new Delta 6 Conformal Coating and Dispensing Systems are being introduced. While maintaining the company’s signature flexibility, capabilities and work area size, the Delta 6 has been designed with improvements in footprint, robust-
ness, accessibility and esthetics. The first upgrade is a slimmer
silhouette as the width of DELTA 6 is just under 4-in. less than its pred- ecessor without losing any work area space. Also significant is the line length (width in assembly line) has been reduced from 48 to 34.2-in. (1.2 to 0.87m). The smaller footprint saves valuable space on the plant floor. In addition, the system has been designed with an increase in the usable work envelope, which can now accommodate a larger head for heavier tools.
