Techspray Intros New Conformal Coating and Water-Based Cleaners


Amarillo, TX — Techspray, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), is show- ing an expanded line of conformal coatings and water-based cleaners for electronic assembly including Fine-L-Kote High Viscosity AR, a new acrylic conformal coating that gives PCB assemblers a wider process window and greater flexibility in their coating operation. High vis- cosity allows operators to use as-is for dipping, or to thin down as needed for spray sys- tems.

vides effective protection against moisture, thermal cy- cling, dust, debris, and other environmental contamination. It has been certified to IPC- CC-830B, MIL-I-46058C, and UL94 V-0, qualifying the final cured coat as non-flammable. The company is introduc-


ing two new formulas in its their water-based Eco-dFlux- er inline and batch defluxing chemistry line. These new products break new ground with environmen- tal advantages and greater material compatibility. Techspray uses optimal combi-


nations of solvents and saponifers that lower surface tension for pene- tration under low standoffs, and powerful cleaning action to remove all flux residues. The cleaners are ef- fective on a wide variety of solders
