Goodland, KS, Lodge, with the help of the Goodland Police Department, the Sherman County Sheriff’s Depart- ment, and local 4-H and Crime- stoppers organizations, held a Bicycle Rodeo, which featured safety instruc- tion and an obstacle course. The lodge gave each of the 30 children who attended the event a goody bag and a certificate and awarded four new bicycles as door prizes.
In other news, lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Brendan Fulcher and presented him with a certificate and a US flag. For his Eagle Scout Project, Fulcher installed several canvas shade covers at the Steever Water Park, a community water park in Goodland.
Ellisville, MO, Lodge, with the help of a $1,000 ENF Promise Grant, held a Youth Day celebration and treated about 150 children and parents to food, games, pony rides, a bounce house, and tours of the local firehouse. Pictured helping young attendee Serena Ray break a piñata is PER Patricia Toben.

Ottawa, KS, Lodge members treated nearly 440 participants in a Relay for Life fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society to breakfast.
Chillicothe, OH, Lodge members honored the winners of their Ameri- canism Essay Contest in a ceremony at the lodge, treated them and their parents to refreshments, and awarded each winner a certificate and a savings bond. The winners at the seventh- and eighth-grade level were Chillicothe Middle School students Christian Collins, Kristen Eblin, and Keegan Francis. The winners at the fifth- and sixth-grade level were Southeastern Middle School students Makalia Mitten and Celina Morris and Unioto Intermediate School student Hayleigh Barney. Lodge members also presented Christian, Kristen, and Hayleigh with savings bonds from the Ohio South Central District for finishing first, third, and third, respectively, at their grade levels in the district contest.
In other news, lodge members gave certificates to Girl Scouts Gabi Indelicato, Jamie Pack, and Katie Powers, of Girl Scout Troop No. 3593, Ali Indelicato, of Brownie Troop No. 292, Brandon Powers, of Boy Scout Troop No. 567, and Jordan Pack, of Boy Scout Troop No. 782, in thanks for their assistance at a patriotic ceremony. The lodge also treated the six scouts to dinner.

Roswell, NM, Lodge, using funds raised at its annual three-day Shorty Burkett Golf Tournament, donated $3,500 to the Elks National Founda- tion, $3,500 to the New Mexico Elks Charitable and Benevolent Trust, which funds the charitable activities of the state association, and $3,600 to the state major project, the New Mexico Elks Association Cerebral Palsy Program, which provides various kinds of therapy and medical equipment to children with cerebral palsy and supports local programs.
Rockland, ME, Lodge used part of a $1,000 ENF Gratitude Grant to donate $500 to help build a new science laboratory for Hope Elemen- tary School.
Skowhegan-Madison, ME, Lodge donated a $1,000 ENF Gratitude Grant to the New Hope Church Women’s Shelter during its ground- breaking ceremony.
Tucumcari, NM, Lodge set aside more than $2,800 to put on its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display. The lodge also donated $2,500 to the House Municipal Schools chapter of Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America, $1,000 to the San Jon Municipal School’s cheerleading squad to support a three-day day camp, $600 to the Tucumcari Youth Soccer League, and $500 to support the eighth annual Mother Road Rally motorcycle rally.
