Edgewater-New Smyrna Beach, FL, Lodge members awarded a $1,000 scholarship to New Smyrna Beach High School student Aubrey Brene- man, gave $50 savings bonds to Sacred Heart Catholic School student Samantha Lamb and Chisholm Elementary School students Morgan Duke and Tyrell Merrick, and gave each of the four students a member- ship in the Southeast Volusia Historical Society.
In other news, the lodge held a
party featuring a large cake to honor Sacred Heart Catholic School eighth grader Jonah Morales for finishing first in the state Americanism Essay Contest. The lodge gave a $200 check to Jonah and presented him with a $300 check from the Florida State Elks Association.
Florida Keys, FL, Lodge members awarded scholarships worth a total of $5,000 to graduating Coral Shores High School seniors Ryan Dugan, Benjamin Ignacio, Cecilia Podrecca, and Chelsea Salatowski.

Delray Beach, FL, Lodge held its annual Awards Night, treated 100 guests to dinner and live musical entertainment, and honored two Citizens of the Year, a Firefighter of the Year, a Police Officer of the Year, and an Ocean Rescue Officer of the Year and gave each honoree a plaque. In other news, the lodge held its 30th annual Country Western Dinner-Dance fund-raiser, which featured raffles, 50/50 raffles, a ring toss, and other games, and raised nearly $11,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In more news, the lodge donated $500 each to the Delray Beach Educational Foundation, which supports schools in the Delray Beach area, and the Milagro Center, which provides cultural activities and academic support to at-risk children.
