Kinlen GRADUATE

I went back to study Medicine in UCD after working as a computer engineer. Like many of my class, I travelled during the summers, working in hospitals in Uganda and India. Tese were both incred- ible experiences. Te course was

stimulating, challenging and scientific. It really came alive for me once we started in hospitals – suddenly all the things we’d read about in books were given real-life meaning. Rotations in clinical specialties, such as psychiatry and paediatrics, helped us choose which area to pursue. Overall, I couldn’t recommend it more and I’ve never had a moment’s doubt that I made the right choice.
