Shanghai is a popular third year destination for our international students.
Second Year Managerial Accounting • Marketing • Human Resources & Industrial Relations • Management Teory • Finance • Information & Communications Technology • Language & Culture/Literature modules
Third & Fourth Year You will choose one of two streams:
Modern Languages Route: You will attend one of our European or Chinese partner universi- ties/business schools where you will continue your studies in the host language (with the exception of Chinese, where students will study the Chinese language, along with business mod- ules, through English). When you return to UCD in fourth year, you will continue your language studies and business studies.
Global Business Route: You will attend one of our partner international universities or busi- ness schools where you will continue your stud- ies in English. In fourth year, when you return to UCD, you will continue to develop your global business and intercultural skills, but will no longer pursue structured language options.
Career & Graduate Study Opportunities BComm International graduates find employ- ment in the private, public and non-profit/NGO sectors, where employers benefit from their business and language competencies; a combi- nation which is highly sought after.
Possible career paths include: A Accountancy
A Banking & Finance (e.g. investment banker, stockbroker)
A Human Resources Management
A Management (e.g. management consultant, strategic planner)
A Marketing (e.g. advertising, brand management)

Many also embark on graduate studies in busi- ness or language, join a graduate trainee pro- gramme, or choose to pursue a higher teaching qualification.
