BY KEVIN EMMOTT BY ADRIAN PENNINGTON
Edtech company Jalinga is adding two new features to its video workfl ow: the development of a browser-based web editor and chromakey functionality. Making its IBC debut, the company says its new web editor enables users to create Jalinga presentations in any web browser, without the need for downloads or installations to a computer. It’s compatible with both Windows and MacOS operating systems. As part of Jalinga’s full cloud system, the web editor also allows users to store and manage presentations in their personal accounts to keep everything in one place. Chromakey functionality has also been integrated into its centralised Jalinga video studio management software and is available to all users. Jalinga specialises in producing,

Concurrent with IBC, a ground- breaking theatrical production, Tre Rum, is being performed simultaneously in three countries: Sweden, Finland and Norway. A real-time experience for audiences in each location, it explores the different stages of a woman’s life and was made possible through Net Insight’s media technology, ensuring minimal delay in video and audio. The play is part of the EU project Innovative Rooms, supporting collaborations between Nordic actors, technology developers and educators. It features a physical actor on each stage in

The result is a new form of stage art where the performance is unique depending on which of the three rooms you are in. Ann-Cathrine Fröjdö, Project Manager at Riksteatern, Swedish National Touring Theatre, said: “This level of innovation is a testament to the transformative power of technology on cultural expression.” 1.B41
