ENTRY-LEVEL CAMERA TRACKER GETS IN POSITION FOR XR AND VP

With an automatically tracked eye on getting beginners on the road to extended reality and virtual production, Beijing-based Anysonus has launched its XR-FreeD Binocular Vision Positioning Kit at IBC2023. This is an IP-capable, standalone camera-tracking system which Anysonus claims works out of the box, requiring no additional software installation or complex setup. The kit
comprises a mini host computer integrated with a 6DoF camera for real-time tracking. It can directly
transmit a FreeD tracking protocol over IP to an XR/VP workstation running Unreal Engine. There are two bundled versions to cater for different client needs. The Standard kit is a budget- orientated pack designed for independent studios as well as YouTube or TikTok users, while the Studio kit is geared to users looking to upgrade their traditional green screen into a LED XR/VP environment. 7.A48
