NEW XS3 CORE AUDIO PROCESSOR UNVEILED DHD

The new XS3 core provides the processing power required to support up to 20 stereo faders on DHD audio mixing consoles. The XS3 forms the basis for the reintroduction of complete DHD mixer bundles. These will be introduced for the SX2, DX2 and TX2 models with planned delivery at the end of Q4 2023. Occupying 1U of rack space, the XS3 is designed to allow

fast and easy confi guration. An integral setup assistant tool allows users to choose between settings with a choice of assignable button functions and display layouts. More advanced settings can be selected using DHD’s Toolbox confi guration software.


CHARLES SPEAKS UP FOR DANTE Glensound

Making its international debut at IBC, Glensound’s Charles interpreter unit is designed to cater for the needs of a single translator while providing complete redundancy for power and Ethernet.


Charles has dual PoE


connections plus a mains and DC input to ensure the unit is always live. It features RJ45 connectors on the rear panel for primary and secondary Dante connections. A fl oor input from the Dante

Single-button selection of the talk outputs allows the user to fl ip/fl op between them as required for multiple languages. Glensound is also introducing a Dante upgrade to its CU-001 commentary unit. The CU-001 Dante is a three-user unit with direct analogue outputs that mirror the Dante connections. Either direct or mixed mic outputs are provided along with three talkback outputs.
