TRANSFORMING MEDIA WORKFLOWS WITH AI The Chainless

BY ADRIAN PENNINGTON

A trio of former fi lmmakers (Esther Arroyo Garcia, Frederik Böhm, and Christian Hirth) have been working on a software solution “so effective and intuitive” that it will “change the future of video and image processing”. They founded AI start-up The Chainless in Freiburg, Germany, and its AI platform, DeepVA, is now on show at IBC. Garcia, CMO & Co-founder, said: “If you struggle to navigate through your media archive,

our enhanced image search revolutionises search options to fi nd what you are really looking for. Other potential use cases could be identifying the perfect placement for your ads or ensuring your content is inclusive, diverse and leaves a lasting impression on your audience.” DeepVA allows users to combine

different features, tailoring the platform to a business’s unique needs. It can be run on-premises or in the cloud. The software’s latest features include audio analysis, from accurate speech transcription to speaker identifi cation.

More on the fl oor: The modular Volta fl oor battery

The new Matrix Battery Charger series can charge eight channels at once, with a 100W charging speed for each. There are three versions: the Matrix-B8 (B-Mount), S8 (V-Mount) and A8 (Gold Mount). The Matrix-B8 adopts 33.6v high- voltage charging; the Matrix-S8 can identify the Swit battery model and automatically switch between 16.8v or 33.6v charging; while the Matrix-A8 uses 16.8v 6A high- speed charging.
