SUPPORTING THE MEDIATECH INDUSTRY From the all-new Market Sizing Reports to the IBC edition of the BaM Awards, IABM is fi nding more ways to serve its members and support them to do better business, says Lucinda Meek, Chief Finance and Operations Offi cer
IABM is the global network for mediatech. It is an independent, international trade and business organisation that connects, supports and informs the entire mediatech ecosystem, with a membership that includes the 450+ media technology suppliers who together account for the majority of revenues in the sector. Recent developments at IABM include the launch of Market Sizing Reports on the new MediaTech Vantage business intelligence platform. This is massive news for the industry – Market Sizing Reports, structured according to the BaM Content Chain taxonomy, give detailed, application-specifi c data right down to product level. With prices to members starting at just £1000, authoritative market and growth potential information essential for budgeting and planning is now within the reach of every company; non-member companies can also purchase Market Sizing Reports at full price. Based on regularly updated and accurate market data provided by IABM’s partner Caretta Research, each report not only includes the market-sizing data itself together with forecasts, but also detailed insight and analysis by the IABM Business Intelligence team, giving meaning to the numbers and adding real value.
MEDIATECH VANTAGE The new MediaTech Vantage platform that hosts Market Sizing Reports is a smart development that brings together every IABM business intelligence report and asset under an intuitive user interface. Users can search, fi lter and tag, and build their own custom report quickly and easily. MediaTech Vantage is open to all staff in all IABM member companies. They have free access to IABM’s entire resource of MediaTech business intelligence, trends and data. SUPPORTING MEMBERS
IABM is pulling out all the stops at IBC to help members do better business. Our member lounge is in a new location at the heart of the show (Europa Foyer adjacent to Hall 2) and has plenty of seated meeting space as well meeting rooms, refreshments and charging points. It is also home to IABM TV. IABM also opened the IBC Conference with its State of the Industry session on Friday, where we also released the State of MediaTech Report, researched just ahead of the show and a must-read for all IBC attendees. We are also announcing the winners of the IBC edition of the BaM Awards at a member reception and ceremony on at 18:00 this evening in the Forum. The BaM Awards recognise outstanding technological innovations that deliver real business and creative benefi ts. In summary, IABM is going all-out to support its members at IBC2023. The whole IABM team is in attendance and is looking forward to connecting with and supporting as many members as possible throughout the show.
