Marine collagen on the rise The global marine collagen market size is estimated to be valued at USD 778 million in 2021 and is projected to reach USD 1,137 million by 2026. The increasing available income among
consumers and rising awareness regarding beauty and personal care segments is expected to contribute to the growth of the marine collagen market. By type, the type I marine collagen
segment is projected to dominate the market during the forecasted period. This is attributed to the increased consumption and preference among consumers, due to the intrinsic health benefits of this type of collagen and its effectiveness as a protein source. Type I marine collagen provides several
cosmetic benefits like anti-aging, wrinkle reduction, and skin elasticity.
Blue biotechnology Blue biotechnology is the application of science and technology to living aquatic organisms for the production of knowledge, goods, and services. Our purest and most concentrated collagen is obtained from the skins of blue ling (Molva molva), a species of gadiform fish typical of the Atlantic Ocean.

concentrated marine collagen active ingredients in the market, with an extraordinarily high concentration of marine origin soluble collagen, from 5.00 to 7.2 %, and a purity of 99%, with less than 1% of non-collagenic proteins. Bio-Marine Collagen Hair is a high
concentration of marine origin soluble collagen, from 2.5 to 3.5 %, and a purity of 99%, for hair care applications. Collagen is the main component of the dermis.
It is the most important protein in the human body as it represents around 30% of the total proteins and 80% of the skin proteins. It is a fibrous protein with a structural function, holding the upper layers of the skin. Different kinds of collagen can be found
