Inspiring beauty concepts for a ‘Post-Covid’ world

The common point between all crises, whether social, health or political, is that they accelerate changes. The COVID-19 crisis is no exception! For many months, we had observed signs
that a significant change in lifestyles was taking place: some consumers were more concerned about the health impact of the products they consumed, others were feeling more concerned by the preservation of the environment and the future of the planet. Finally, some of them were getting “hyper- connected” and totally technology addicted. COVID-19 made these macro trends real lifestyles, we named them: “Healthy Living”, “Better Living” and “Super living”.
New beauty concepts To answer the new aspirations of consumers, Seppic developed three beauty concepts in line with “Post-COVID” world concerns.
Wellness Beauty The Wellness Beauty concept is dedicated to consumers driven by the health impact of the product they consume, for a Healthy Living. These people are looking for a healthier lifestyle but also for a balance between body and mind. At the beginning of the crisis, they increased their consumption of skin care products and adopted spa routines at home, a real source of comfort. The Wellness Beauty concept is part of clean
cosmetic and holistic beauty trends. It also plays with textures and emotions to awaken consumers’ senses. Happy Skin formula (Formulation 1) illustrates it: this “pro-ageing” treatment foam stimulates hearing, smell, sight and touch for a unique multi-sensory experience. Its surprising airy texture is obtained especially thanks to Sepimax Zen™ (INCI Name : Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6), a stabilising polymer with outstanding suspensive properties allowing air bubble stability. the formula contains Ceramosides™ HP (INCI name: Glycosphingolipids & Glycolipids) as a star ingredient improving skin complexion, providing anti-ageing properties and identified as a positive emotions booster. To also activate taste, this skin care comes
with gummy food supplements containing Ceramosides, an anti-ageing active ingredient

Conscious Beauty The Conscious Beauty concept is dedicated to consumers feeling very concerned about the preservation of the environment and the future of the planet, and looking for a Better Living. For them, the ethical and environmental impact of the products they consume are the first criteria of purchasing decisions. They are the
