ITW EAE Receives Patent for
Dispensing Technology Minneapolis, MN — The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued Patent No. 10,434,537 protecting Dynamic Dual Head™ (DDH) dispensing technology for the Camalot® Prodigy™ dispenser. The Prodigy dispenser employs break- through technology to deliver high-speed and extremely accurate materials dispensing for electronics assembly and packaging with tighter tolerances and higher yields. DDH uses a unique method of identifying and correcting for part-to-part rotation of electronic substrates in real time, allowing synchro- nous dispensing of two pumps. DDH can double production capacity, while maintaining the highest level of accuracy for both dispense pumps with no compromise in yield. Web:

Technic Purchases Chemical Produc-
tion Facility in France Amiens, France — Technic has purchased a new chemical production facility located in Amiens, France. The acquisition will enable the company to expand manufacturing of semiconductor products and better serve the growing cus- tomer base in Europe and around the world. Technic cited several essential reasons for choosing the facility. It was formerly owned by a chemicals manu- facturer and is one of six high-threshold SEVESO sites in Amiens, meeting one of Technic’s primary classification requirements. The facility’s large size offers the opportunity to expand capacity in both low- and high-volume production. Also, the facility is near Saint-Denis, where Technic’s primary production fa- cility, administrative offices and R&D laboratories are located. Web:
