X/Z-Axis Motorized Linear Positioning Stages from OES

Van Nuys, CA — Optimal Engineering Systems (OES) has added a new series of 0.6, 1.2, 2, and 3 in. (15, 30, 50, and 75 mm) linear motion position- ing stages to its broad selection of precision motion control components. Each of these motorized x/z- axis linear positioning stages provides 1 µm repeatability and 10 µm positional accuracy. Both the x-axis and z-axis have the travel

lengths of 0.6, 1.2, 2, and 3, in. (15, 30, 50, and 75 mm) and longer, to meet application requirements. The high-precision 0.04 in. (1 mm) per turn lead screws and crossed roller bearing are used in these black anodized stages. They are excellent for sam- pling, assembly, sorting, testing, laser drilling, and machining, and positioning in lab and manufactur- ing environments. The linear stages are available

with either stepper motors with knobs for manual adjustment, which can be replaced with optical encoders for position verification. The stages are also available with servo motors and encoders for

API Delevan Introduces Shielded Surface Mount Inductors

East Aurora, NY — API Delevan has introduced its HRSPD125 series of shielded surface mount inductors. They are built to meet mechanical shock, high-frequency vibration, sol- derability and moisture resistance per MIL-STD-202, thermal shock per MIL-PRF-27 and SnPb reflow profile, per MIL-PRF-83446. These low- DCR, high-current inductors have an operating temperature range of –67 to +266°F (–55 to +130°C) and are available in inductance values from 2.2 to 1,000 µH. Custom values are also available.

closed-loop operation and higher operating speeds. These x/z-axis motorized linear positioning

stages are compatible with the OES line of motion controllers and are available as a complete plug- and-play system. OES is a manufacturer of motion control products, including stepper motor con- trollers and drivers, solenoid electronics, and posi- tioning stages and slides. Applications include automated assembly systems, automation, CNC machines, inspection systems, linear and rotary stages, machine tools, optical components, and
