Speedprint Displays Line of Printing Platforms
Tampa, FL — Speedprint Technology is exhibiting a lineup of advanced printing systems, including the flag- ship SP710AVi precision screen printer and mid-sized SP1220 long- board printing platform at IPC APEX 2020. Due to a balance of long-board
capability and a moderate machine footprint, the SP1220 printer is prov- ing highly popular with manufacturers in the U.S. This is the first showing of the SP1220 at a U.S. trade event. The SP1220’s 48 in. (1,220 mm) board printing capability handles the
majority of long boards found in pro- duction across the U.S. and Europe. For the few manufacturers who must deal with even larger circuit boards, Speedprint offers the SP1550, which extends board handling capability to 61 in. (1,550 mm) in length. At the trade show, one of the
company’s flagship SP710AVi screen printers will be fitted with Speed - print’s ADu+ (automatic dispense unit), giving manufacturers the abil- ity to dispense paste and glue inside the printer and offering the potential to eliminate a full process step and
machine from an SMT assembly line. That machine will also feature
the award-winning S-Track trace- ability solution, an integrated bar- code label feeder and placement sys- tem that provides traceability right from the very start of the SMT
assembly process. Contact: Speedprint Technology,

XQIII X-ray component counter. The XQIII does not require
models, libraries or a connection to the cloud. The system’s automatic algorithms recognize components. The built-in barcode reader elimi- nates the extra manual scanning step. Unique imaging technology pro- vides excellent count accuracy. The XQII and XQuik III are
both designed to be used standalone or with full material handling automation. The built-in link to cus- tomers’ MES systems provides data transfer including reel ID and count, as well as user-configurable fields, such as operator ID, timestamp, part number, etc. VJ Electronix’ Summit iSeries
rework systems are an improved ver- sion of the popular rework system. VJE has maintained all the benefits of high-efficiency convection heating and the “1-2-3-Go” interface, coupled with updated technology for greater reliability and an improved price point.
Further refinements enhance
the system’s performance with ultra- small components, while maintain- ing its capabilities with large boards, oversized CPU sockets, connectors and BGAs up to 4.7 x 4.7 in. (120 x
120 mm). Contact: VJ Electronix, Inc., 19
