Attentiveness requires patience Every day is a new oppor- tunity to be attentive to God, to welcome the day as his gift, and to live that day by offering our good works to him. Such atten- tiveness requires patience, he said, yet no night is so long, as to make us forget the joy that comes with dawn. Pope Francis 11- 10-17

In Memoriam Thanksgiving Miracle Prayer
Dear Heart of Jesus, in the past I have asked for many favours. This time I ask for a special one (Mention Favour)
Take it Dear Heart of Jesus and place it within your own broken heart, where your father sees it
Then in his merciful eyes it will become your favour not mine. AMEN
Say this prayer 3 days, promise publication. Prayer and favour will be granted, no matter how impossible
NEVER KNOWN TO FAIL A.B.
REBECCA MAY PEDDER Who died on 22nd October, 2016
12 Bridgetcourt, Bridgetown, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork Remembering with love my Mom
I’ll Lend You... A Child of Mine
“I’ll lend you for a little time, a child of mine, ‘Christ said. For you to love the while he lives, and mourn for when he’s dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, but will you, ‘til I call him back, take care of him for me? He’ll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, you’ll have his lovely memories
of solace in your grief. I cannot promise he will stay--since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there I
want this child to learn. I looked the wide world over, in search of teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd life’s lane, I have selected you. Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain--nor
hate Me when I come to you and take him home again. I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, Thy will be done.” For all the many joys he’ll bring, the risk of grief we’ll run. We’ll shelter him with
tenderness, we’ll love him while we may, and for the happiness we’ve known, forever grateful stay. But should the angels call for him, much
sooner than we planned, we’ll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.”
God saw you were getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered come to me, A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands now rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
Love you always Mom, Your loving daughter Leah

Who died on 22nd October, 2016 12 Bridgetcourt, Bridgetown, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork
We, Rebecca’s family, wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on our very sad
loss, those who sent Mass Cards, kind letters of sympathy and also those who said a quiet prayer.
There are too many people to thank individually but you all are in our thoughts. Special thanks to Wallis Funeral Home and Fr. Frank O’Neill and all the services involved.
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name, But all we have are memories, and your picture in a frame. Your resting place we visit, and put flowers there with care, But no one knows the heartache,
As we turn and leave you there.
Sadly missed by her parents Nora and Percy, daughter Leah, brother Bill and partner Martha, sisters Norma, Barbara and Antoinette, nieces and nephews and extended family.
1st Anniversary Mass takes place on Sunday October 22nd at 9:45am in Mogeely Church.
