our club. Our Club Sec- retary Liz Butler made the presentation to Ned in the presence of our members last Tuesday night.
Ned
thanked the club and said he was honoured to re-
ceive the certificate and he would treasure it for years to come. Our yellow team had a
home game against Cox’s Hall on Thursday night and after a close game we lost narrowly to a strong Dunmanway team.

Results & Fixtures Ladies Inter Zone (I.I.B.A.) Competition The Cork Ladies team travelled North on Friday 6th
October 2017
and stayed overnight in the Carrickdale Hotel, Dundalk, for their match against Armagh Zone. They played their match on Saturday 7th
October
in the Richill Pres. Hall, Armagh. The format was as in previous rounds, consisting of two sessions with three teams of four from each side and each game consisting of 10-ends with two trial ends and where necessary, an extra
end (s). In first session after five ends the home team led the away team by ten shots but in the second half the Cork team improved and reduced the deficit to leave the score at the halfway stage (31/24) Both teams won one and drew one game each, to leave the home team ahead by seven shots. In the second session of the match the Armagh team made an impressive start and gradually increased their lead and won all three games to win the match by twenty two shots.(Match details – Armagh Zone versus Cork Zone with Armagh
