We are so grateful to everyone for their selfless efforts on the day and in- deed throughout the many months leading up to it.” The second East Cork Harbour Marathon held this past August saw a sim- ilarly large turnout as its inaugural year in 2016 with approximately 1,000 ath- letes registering to partici- pate with around 300 volun- teers offering their services on the day. A short video of the day’s events is available at eastcorkmarathon.com. The third running of the

East Cork Harbour Mara- thon is already set for Sat- urday, 11 August 2018 with the proceeds once again going towards charities and worth community initia- tives.
