we took on Lisgoold in Castlemartyr in the ¼
final of this years Jnr. A C/ship. with a place in the ½ final at stake v Glenbower Rvrs. Lis- goold proved to be for- midable opponents with a lot of young good Foot- ballers in their ranks, In a low scoring and some- times messy
encounter
we had to give way to our opponents on a scoreline of 1:08 to 2:03, a lack of discipline from our lads proved to be costly as the game reached its conclu- sion as we were reduced to 13 players which made it very difficult to breach a tight Lisgoold defence, so a disappointing end to our Jnr. A Football campaign and the best of luck to Lisgoold going forward.
