would be a welcome ac- tivity for local children, young people and their families and help im- prove the health of all local residents. Deputy Buckley

said

while he would welcome the prospect of a new pool in the town, ex- chequer funding could be better spent on vital services. He said the County’s

roads budget has been running on fumes for the past number of years, which was hindering the demand for improving and maintaining the ar- eas roads. Significant cuts have

been made to the roads budgets since 2008, staff- ing resources have also been cut by at least 50%. The Deputy went onto

were positive aspects to it, it wasn’t progressive enough and said Sinn Fein would be calling for the role out of 24/7 in- tervention crisis centres in each county over the next 2 years.
