Gaelscoil Mhainistir Na Corann Quiz Night a Great Success Cairde, the parents

association of Gaelscoil Mhainistir Na Corann hosted a very successful table quiz last Monday night in Wallis’. This quiz

was a fundraiser to cov- er the cost of the addi- tional science equipment which has been recently purchased by the school. There was a large

at- tendance on the night

and it was a very social evening with many of our new parents getting to know each other in a social setting. Manning

Groundworks were very generous in sponsoring first prize of four Mahon Point vouchers. We also had a number of other generous sponsors who

provided prizes for our raffle. A full list of spon- sors and winners

will

soon be available on the Cairde Facebook page. The

committee would like to thank everyone

who was involved in the evening, sponsors, organ- isers, participants, raffle ticket sellers and buyers, host Wallis’ parents and

teachers and in particular Caitriona O Driscoll who has organised this quiz over the last

two years

and will be leaving Cairde as a parent this year.
