Seandun Macra’s Year Starts Drawing to a Close

break last Friday night with their end of year so- cial which took place in the Spailpin Fanach in Cork City. Music was pro- vided on the night by Dan- ny Dineen. This Sunday is a busy as ever in Seandun however with the Seandun final of tag rugby taking place from 11am in the Douglas RFC grounds in the morning with Seand- un also hosting the Mun- ster final of Creative Chal- lenge in the evening. Best of luck to all taking part!

Cookery Cottage, South Douglas Road. This proved to be an incredibly enjoyable


group were initially

up into pairs where they


worked on two different sweet treats from a selec- tion including baked alas- ka, red velvet


cupcakes,


oreo muffins, chocolate chip cookies, sponge cake, sweet


drizzle


scones and lemon cake.


Afterwards


the group convened for a cup of tea where they en-


joyed sampling the mas- sive selection of incredible baking that was on offer. Thank you to all 16 Mac- ra members who attended the event, the staff of the Cookery Cottage and es- pecially to Zara Long, Gl- anmire Macra who co-or- dinated the event.
