SEHO Introduces New Modular Selective Soldering Machine

Erlanger, KY —SEHO has added new technology that improves productivity in electronics manufacturing with the introduction of the SelectLine-C selec- tive soldering system. The SelectLine-C is a modular

selective soldering system that includes fluxer modules, various pre- heat modules and soldering modules that can be equipped individually. It is even possible to add a brush sta- tion to remove any residues after the soldering process and an AOI station for immediate inspection. Depending on the user’s requirements, the dif- ferent modules can be configured into a complete manufacturing line, and the machine can be upgraded with additional modules at any time. Electronic manufacturers face

new manufacturing challenges con- stantly. Besides high quality require- ments along with low production costs, there are invariably product changes and the need for flexibility to react to changes in demand. The SelectLine-C’s modular design pro- vides high manufacturing flexibility. The soldering area of the sys-

tem has been designed for precision and flexibility. Various electro-mag- netic soldering units may be used for flexible mini-wave soldering process- es, or can be equipped with multi- nozzle tools for dip soldering with short cycle times. Two special features provide a

remarkable increase in productivity: The automatic ultrasonic nozzle cleaning function guarantees reliable processing and maximum machine
