to be able to pick up 16 single micro- lasers from a wafer tray one at a time, place them into a burn-in test fixture, remove for testing and burn-in, and then pick the components from the burn-in fixture and place them into a multi-head array. The process is ex- tremely precise, with a tolerance of


manufactured and shipped in 10 weeks from the date of order. Con- tributing factors to the job’s success were the company’s vertically inte- grated engineering, software pro- gramming and manufacturing capa-
