Jeffrey Pitts, a partner of the firm based in Fragomen’s New Jersey office, specializes in advising multinational companies on global corporate immigration programmes. He is experienced in assisting international companies in the immigration implications of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and corporate restructurings. Mr Pitts is a member of the firm’s corporate compliance committee, and he is skilled in petitioning on behalf of his clients the full range of business immigration categories, as well as residence cases such as outstanding researchers and individuals of extraordinary ability. Mr Pitts develops immigration programmes for corporations

to ensure compliance with Employer Sanction, Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services and Department of Labour regulations. Mr Pitts also handles Office of Special Counsel investigations and Department of Labour audits. He serves as immigration counsel to clients in diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, academia, technology and consulting, telecommunications, financial services and manufacturing. His clients range from large Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. Mr Pitts is a member of the International Bar Association,

International Business Law Section; the Bar of the City of New York, having served on the Committee on Immigration; and the New Jersey State Bar Association, International Law Section. He is a regular speaker, presenter and expert panellist at select immigration seminars and training sessions, including the American Council on International Personnel, the American Chemical Society, ilw.com, New York University and New York Law School, to name a few. Mr Pitts is admitted to practise before the US Supreme Court and the US District Court, District of New Jersey, and is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars.
