Patrik Lindfors is the managing partner of Lindfors & Co, a dispute resolution boutique founded in 2008 and based in Helsinki focusing solely on providing dispute resolution, conflict management and conflict avoidance services to corporate clients. The dispute resolution practice of Lindfors & Co covers all areas of commercial law, with the exception of tax law. Most of the firm’s work is of a cross-border nature. Recent work has focused on contract, IT, IP and construction disputes, as well as disputes arising out of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Lindfors & Co’s clients are mainly leading Finnish and multinational corporations in, for example, the energy, telecommunications, banking and manufacturing sectors. Mr Lindfors has almost 20 years’ experience as counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings and commercial and white-collar litigation. He has experience of the Finnish, Swedish and English Arbitration Acts, and the arbitration rules of institutions such as the ICC, SCC, LCIA, ICSID, IATA and the Arbitration Institute of the Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland. Mr Lindfors has acted as counsel in arbitrations seated in London, Helsinki, The Hague, Riga, Moscow, Geneva, Zurich, Vienna and Stockholm, among others. He also serves on a regular basis as an arbitrator and chairman in both domestic and international arbitrations. He is recognized as a leading individual in Chambers Global,
