acts for governments, sponsors, banks, builders and contractors in connection with the development, financing, construction and operation of projects across a range of sectors including energy and natural resources, infrastructure (roads, bridges and rail), waste, water, sewage defence and accommodation.
Property: The group advises on all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate, and is at the forefront of sophisticated real estate transactions. International and domestic clients include significant property developers, institutional and private investors, retailers, lenders and inward investors.
Structured finance: The group has enjoyed a pre-eminent reputation as market leader in arranging structured finance transactions since it was involved in the drafting of the original securitization legislation enacted in Ireland, and subsequently advised on the first securitization of international assets through Ireland. The group advises international financial institutions and corporations involved in arranging and executing structured finance transactions in and through Ireland.
Tax: The firm’s tax department is by a considerable extent the largest tax practice group among Irish law firms.
