C2 Supporting participants taking part in drills and
conditioned practice After demonstrating and explaining each drill or conditioned activity, participants will try to perform it themselves.
You need to provide help and support as they do so.
The aim of your support is to make sure that they improve their technique for each sporting skill. To do this, you will need to do the following:
• Observe participants: You must watch everyone carefully to make sure they perform each drill correctly.
• If anyone is not doing it correctly you may need to demonstrate it again. You may also need to provide further instructions and teaching points. Just like in the initial instruction and demonstration, instructions and teaching points should be simple, clear, and broken down.
• You should provide feedback to all participants.
