When planning drills and conditioned practice you need to think about how you will demonstrate techniques.
Space
For each drill or conditioned practice you need to plan how much space you will need. Some examples might include: • Using the full playing area but with some rule changes. • Using a small part of the normal playing area.
• Using the full playing area but with multiple smaller conditioned games or drills taking place. Equipment
Examples of equipment that can be used in drills include: • cones • a range of diff erent coloured bibs • lots more balls than for a standard match • stopwatch • whistle
• other specialist equipment, such as mini hurdles, smaller goals in football or fl oats in swimming.
